Common questions, real answers

Audio is processed transiently - chunks fly through Whisper for transcription, get summarised by an LLM, and are dropped. We keep no recordings. The server stores only your subscription state, your Telegram ID, and the text Q/A pairs (so History works). Everything happens over HTTPS.
Yes - Voxcribe captures everything your computer plays. So if Zoom is playing the interviewer's voice through your speakers, Voxcribe hears it. Same for Meet, Webex, Teams, Discord, Slack huddles, browser audio. The interviewer never sees Voxcribe - it's not a screen-shared element, it's an overlay on your machine only.
On macOS, BlackHole is the cleanest way to route system audio into Voxcribe - that's why we offer to install it. If you skip it, Voxcribe still works with the microphone, you just won't capture sound from other apps. On Windows, no driver install is needed - WASAPI loopback is built in.
The macOS build right now is Apple Silicon only (M1/M2/M3/M4). An Intel build is on the roadmap. Meanwhile Intel users can run the Windows build on a Bootcamp/Parallels partition or use the mic-only mode.

Yes - your subscription is tied to your Telegram account, not to a specific machine. Login on Mac and Windows with the same code. Just don't run it concurrently on multiple devices - the session is per-user.
